Greetings to the list. Some time ago someone had said that the potission for Protools was in the process of beeing written and then would be given to the proper individuals who would get this going forward. When this potission is ready to sign how will this bee done? Will the potission bee located on a web sight where those intrested in signing can go and add there name to the potission or will this bee past around as a paper form and as a web sight potission or will this just be some type of form sent out to those intrested and after beeing signed, have to be sent back to a particular person or organization? I hope that in this potission there is some reference to accessability within a certain time frame. An extra comment. What we need on this potission are a few extra names, Stars who are visually impaired and other well known names who have used this software in the past. Also, I think I have heard from this list of a school out in the northwest that actually teaches some type of recording technician cource to visually impaired and blind individuals. Anyone of any importance at all would be of great value in signing a potission for Protools accessability with screen readers for the blind, first with Voice over and then with other screen readers for use in the windows x-windows vista environments. Also I would hope that we could get some signers who were sighted but who were more prone to like the use of shortcut keys and tabbing through controles and arrowing up and down to different things on the screen. There are a lot of those believe it or not who would rather use anything but the mouse. Thank you. Tracy Son.
