You know that correspondence about OSX 10.2 crashes? Rod Wynne-Powell pointed out that there is a lot of discussion on the Mac in touch list about this.

Bad memory modules have reportedly caused a lot of problems with Jaguar. If your Mac is always crashing applications, corrupting files already saved to disk and damaging the hard drive, it may be bad RAM that's at fault. And unfortunately the only way the tell seems to be to try installing new modules, as corrupted memory can easily pass all the usual tests OK.

My problem is trying to work out which memory I should replace the old modules with - SDRAM or DDR? I have SDRAM in the Mac at the moment, but I hear that DDR is faster. Is this for special edition 1 GHz twin processor Macs or can any use the higher standard? Is there a way to find out?
