Point taken , but I thought the comparisons were being made with high end cameras.Images from these can be much abused and still provide poster quality images at the end of the day :-). It may well be that CMOS is the future , and it's interesting to hear about the dust issue. It'll be good to see how the new Canon pans out against the new Sinar / Kodak ( and soon to be Lightphase and Imacon ) CCD chip, and the new(ish) Philips 9 micron chip (twice the resolution but same 35mm format chip size with slightly less dynamic range).
