Shangara, In my opinion CMOS is much superior to CCD in quality terms even at the high end. Lack of firewire is no problem, because the best way to work with all digital cameras is to put the flash card in a card reader, not via the camera. An example: 512Mb card via EOS1D 8-9min. Via card reader 1.5 min Another big advantage (for me) of CMOS is the lack of a dust problem on the sensor which can become a real pain. Nick.
