I was moving some Cibachromes a few days ago. I particularly looked to see if they had faded or changed colour. I could discern no change. The prints were hung behind thin "plastic" glass in average room conditions with direct dawn sunlight for ten years. That is the window faced east.
I have a blockage when it comes to remembering all the numbers that Epson calls their printers. Am I right that the 2100 is the model which takes the best inks for longevity? Cripes, maybe I'd better stick one in my window - since that's how I 'tested' my inkjets (obvious fading noticeable after 3 months in south-facing window, the one on the wall away from direct sunlight still fine 8 months on and counting....) >> =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
