Check the DP Review for a repot on new CF cards with up to 3GB of storage capacity. Not the best solution yet, but lots of more shooting freedom per card. http://www.dpreview.com/news/0211/02111901pretec3gb.asp Reports on the Nixvue are ok and having up to 30Gb is quite something.Both USB and FW connection ( I assume USB must a joke here) I guess Paul talked abou the small Vaio, and I recall watching the PhaseOne guys at the Expo in NY showing a small version of the Vaio attached to a belt,( the demo guy looked like robot), so you would be shooting tethered to the small Vaio, having a small but interesting screen to watch as you shoot, and some good storage capacity.
