hi neil,If anyone has any (reasonable) suggestions for testing results less subjectively, feel free.You shouldn't expect a totally perfect match [partly because of substrate colour] - but IMHO, to be sure of moniotr and output you'd need a reference file and image, we can supply the verification kit, have a look at
one of the points of comparison has been to check profiled output against and iris proof of a transcrom
target from which i have an iris proof and the digital original. Is thomas' system going to yield improvements without any instrumentation?
also I have noticed quite a shift towards red when viewed under florescent lights and compared to the iris, I am assuming this to be metermerism.
Otherwise, in daylight and to a lesser degree daylight balanced very good.
