I've found over the years both Outlook Express and Entourage can handle spam fairly easily. I have never used the Junk Mail Filter as you do have to train it. Instead, I find it much easier to use Rules. All my personal mail comes into my Inbox. All my listmail is sorted into respective list folders. All my spam goes to a Junk folder which I periodically go through and delete. The reason I don't have the filter delete them outright is in case someone sends an important email but as a CC or BCC. Spam is very rarely addressed to you directly so it's easy to set up filters that say if it's not addressed to you, dump it in the Junk (whatEver) folder or delete it. I do get the occasional spam addressed to me directly but as it's rare, there's no need to set a rule for a particular domain name or subject line. I just make it a rule never, ever to respond to any spam - apart from the make easy money and Viagra ads, of course ;-) --/ Shangara Singh http://www.e-pixel.co.uk Adobe Certified Expert ~ Photoshop 7.0 PortfoliosOnCD for Photographers http://www.portfoliosoncd.com =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
