E-mail harvesting bots cannot harvest from a list (although I do belong to
a long-standing microsopy list which is frequently spammed ... but the spam
goes to the list address, not directly to the subscribers).
As part of the Prodig team, we are concerned about the archive, which is a
harvest-able resource on the internet. It is relatively new, but as soon as
Google finds it (and therefore everyone else), it will be scanned for viable
e-mail addresses.

I dare say you've been so far lucky ... but the Prodig team does not want
to be responsible for you getting any at all. As many of you know, our team
of listmums has been rather busy trying to make you all aware (... and I
have yet to take my turn after the new directive). As hard as we've been
working (monitoring yet another thread on the subject, and questionably
on-topic), I imagine (although it's not my call) it will come to an
"awareness" letter when you first subscribe. We want to be responsible ...
but that responsibility has to end somewhere with expectations our
subscribers are internet savvy.
