Hi, I'll add my thoughts to Mike's. I've used Eudora for years and think it's great. Very simple interface, allows you to see attachments in the email or open them separately. Very customisable and does exactly what you tell it to. You can download it for free and try it out. Even the paid version is very cheap. If you want any more info email me off-list by all means.
