Err ..... maybe some photographers are surprised.However....

Sorry to appear negative so far , but a shedload of us digital smudgers 
are softproofing and hardproofing as a regular part of our existing 
workflow (A properly set up high end system does not give 'just an idea' 
of what will appear) .

Reshooting would be an extreme scenario given the amount of information 
in a good raw camera file.

Do you use an ICC colour managed workflow ?

What conversion method do you use for CMYK seperations or RGB conversions 
for your proofing device ?

As to the former ,what is the definition or specification of the CMYK 
space that you are proofing to ?

And what are you using as a proofing device ?

If you can answer the above , then  we could give you a better idea of 
how useful this service will be. Without this information it's kind of 
difficult to say.
