Bob and Daniel, things are easier in life.

Download this utility called " PrintToPDF " from Versiontracker.com. It
installs a Chooser Extension ( OS9 of course) and regardless of the App you
are working your file with, you then press "Print" and the dialog box with
options to convert into pdf show up.You can include compression to amazing
levels plus more info, while retaining original quality.

Adobe has also developed an utility for this, but the PrintToPDF thing is
quite something. You don't need Acrobat or anything else installed in your
machine.

For a sample , download my promocard in my website. It was a 300 dpi file to
go for printed promotion and I downsized it, first in PS and then with this
great utility. It prints beautifully, no jaggies, no pixels, etc and it is a
340k file, but if you open it in Photoshop, then it is a 220 dpi file with
output size of 20x26cm.

 Pretty cool !!!

You can turn into pdf almost any kind of document. I tested a small
portfolio in Microsoft Word, adding images and text ( some sort of Calendar)
and then converted into PDF as well. Many promotional things can de devised
with this app, and also you can send pdf image samples to your clients, very
easy to read by almost anyone.

Basically, anything printable can be turned into PDF.

   All the best.
