A purge print is made up of alternating bands of C-M-Y-K plus R-G-B, which
force the nozzles to deliver equal amounts of ink to the paper. A 72dpi res
file printed out at 360dpi does fine - very good for nozzle checks and for
ironing out banding problems. Regular printing has the same effect for
keeping nozzles in a work-ready state.
