Hi David, Sorry I can't offer much advice here but I've had similar experiences and I remember someone else on list mentioning the same thing. It happened to me, a while back, with PS5 on Mac OS 8.6. The problem seemed to arise from nowhere. Previously it had not been a problem, then suddenly it started doing it about every other time I launched it. Most annoying, but all I could do was use the keyboard to quit, then launch again. On occasion it might do it twice in a row but mostly the second time around it was OK! Not exactly a work around but the best I could do.
