Title: Introducing myself

Hello,
In line with the discussion list guidelines I’m taking this opportunity to
introduce myself having just subscribed a few minutes ago. My name is Ashley
Karyl and I am a photographer who has recently returned to the UK after many
years spent in Milan primarily shooting models, but also some still life
work for commissioned editorial and advertising assignments.

For about a year now I have been working with Photoshop on my own rather
than giving it to labs and now do nearly all my own retouching work using my
Mac G4 running Mac OS X 10.2. Until now, the majority of my work has been
done on medium format transparency as that was what my clients demanded
however I am keen to start working with digital capture in a new market
having run some experiments with friends cameras and seen some of the
advantages.
