With a Nikon NEF file the data is not changed when you convert to a tiff or
jpeg. You can return again and again to the file and process with different
settings. I would expect the Fuji file to operate in a similar way.

Also as the software improves for converting raw files the finished output
should improve. Bibble has certainly improved from the first version of the
software. 

This is yet another good reason for shooting RAW.
