As Ed said, rumours abound and they sound interesting. The D60 is an excellent camera with image quality that could be described as great value for money. The 1.6x multiplier can be a nuisance. The body feels tacky, but is actually surprisingly strong. In reality, the images can comfortably go to A3 in a glossy magazine and depending on repro standard, A1/A2 is feasible (Lambda, 200 dpi)
Rendering of detail is good and images are fairly much noise free. Skin tones can be an issue in certain light, but generally, they can be swiftly remedied. 2nd hand this camera will be a bargain at around GBP 1000.
