Dear Sam/ListJeez Neil which side of the bed did you get out of. I have just received a similar mail from list mom but kept my reply off the forum and it was certainly less terse than yours. Life's a bit short don't you think for a lack of politeness to our fellows, no matter what.
This slip posting to the list does perhaps show up that being a list mum is often bloody hard work for which the reward is sometimes difficult emails from members who take a kindly reminder the wrong way for whatever reason. The list is run on guidelines set by the list owner NOT the list mums, though we do put our views to him quite strongly as it happens<G>
As regards the removal of email addresses, we are finding that although there are still a few slip-ups, most people are getting the hang of it with one or two notable exceptions! Please remember that many of you asked for the archive and the listowner felt that member's interests were best survived by requiring that ALL email addresses be removed.
Just the thoughts of one off duty (thank heavens for the break!) list mum.
