> Aitor Hi Aitor. I've just upgraded from a 2450 (it's for sale by the way on the prodig sale list). Apart from the obvious resolution increase it is supposed to be three times faster which is a very welcome benefit. Scanning a 5X4 at full res in 16 bit gives a file size at nearly one gigabyte so I can no longer archive a 16 bit file to CD! The film holders are more substantial than the 2450, there are now doors that you can close on the film rather than merely grooves. I cannot say whether the 3200 has a magenta cast like the 2450 because I calibrated it straight away. I've compared the 2450 results with some very celebrated scanners and been amazed at how good the 2450 was and clients have been very happy with the results. This is using Silverfast software not Epson's Twain drivers. I hope this helps.
