At the start of this thread, Thomas Holm had this to say: only the SG inks
can be profiled. The Quad Black tonality must be adjusted with a set of
(transfer) curves. I know people who have reached excellent results with
this approach (after some work), and I know good Photoshop'ers who have
given up (after a lot of work) and have changed to SG as they couldn't get
Quad to work to their satisfaction."
I have just today ordered some Small Gamut carts. If I consume a lot, I
shall install a CIS.
