Dear Simon, How about Epson's new UltraChrome inks? Available in the 2100, 9600 and 7600 and seem to be receiving rave reviews. As far as I can make out (NeilB should be able to help us on this one), these inks are in a category all of their own when it comes to discussing dye and pigment but seem to carry a lot of advantages of both... Not so good on glossy stocks though. > Is it really possible to produce photographic quality inkjets that can be > sold on with confidence ? And if so what ink/paper combinations ? Oh yes! I have been selling Lyson Fotonic prints on Standard/Smooth Fine Art for some time now, usually framed. I'm hoping that a switch to UltraChrome will invoke even greater confidence.
