I guess it is a stripped down, can't be bothered to give it the same specs as the OS 9, cut and shut, Friday afternoon sort of driver.
While I am on this particular rant, how come the print preview takes about 5 times as long in OS X to produce an image? I would be more stable if I worked more slowly but I thought operating systems are meant to get better as they mature.
