I often do this in the studio and have stitched up to 8 shots with
complete success. You could use this technique in an interior with
people, just make sure any people are well within any of the individual
shots. If there is any sign of a join I re-stitch the images by
feathering the edges. Wide angle tiling can be more difficult as the
back standard has to be more accurately positioned to 'follow' the plane
of focus, this is due to less depth of focus on wide angle lenses and
the front & back standards being so near to each other. There is a Flex
Adapter that will make stitching 3 images quick and easy, they can be
automatically joined using the software (PS I think, or Capture One),
it's available from Phase One dealers but is quite pricey at about �1.5K
ish. Hope this makes sense.
