This week I did the same shot on a 1Ds and RZ with E100S. Unfortunately
it'll be a while before I can show them to anyone as they're with the
client. Also I don't have a drum scanner! If anyone wants to volunteer a
drum scanner in the name of science, let me know.
Dear Richard

Not sure if you were fishing but as always I am prepared to put my reputation up for public scrutiny, and would be prepared to provide you with a drum scan in the interests of science as you put it. (Please don't everyone try the same ploy<BG>)

However again in the interests of science, I can only see some value in doing this provided the image from the RZ has been captured on a high resolution fine grain transparency film, nicely processed and of maximum sharpness. This would suggest to me that it was used on a stout tripod without column extension, the mirror up facility was used, and that an appropriate aperture selected on a lens known to be excellent.

Cheers

Richard
