Oh dear. > Maybe I'm missing something, but, does anyone know if it is possible to > save the history states or if not will it be possible in the near > future? Not possible, as history states are dependent upon the levels of Undo you have set to work with. If at the end of say, 100 Undo's a 100meg file will often have a temporary scratch file of maybe 6-8 gigs in size. Therefore it is impractical to 'Save' a history state. What you can do is go backwards and forwards along the history time-line and make snapshots or new documents of key elements in the file's workflow, for saving to disk as resource material and file backup.
