I have just set this up on a friends computer last week. 1)You need to check the "ignore dial tone " box in modem control panel. Also have you selected "nokia infra red" under modem choice?
2) Open infra red control panel and place your phone near the port. The computer should now "see" the phone and say this in control panel dialogue box.
