You might also want to consider investing in a router - the
Internet connection goes to the router, then the local
machine connect to it and you can by-pass the server
architecture Paco refers to. Bahaviour will be somewhat
similar to being in-office, although there are lots of new
issues that arise: security to the office servers, VPN, etc.

Sounds easy - never is!

I use an Asante router with a D-Link wireless access point
for my studio setup. Shares one cable connection. Works like
a charm once you have it configured properly.
