[PRODIG] OT . Failed RZ lens

Hello list , I know there are some Mamiya RZ users on list .

We had a problem this morning , the camera would just not fire , all we got was the warning sound (beeping).
Took the camera apart , suspecting that the AE prism contacts were at fault , changed all batteries , all to no avail.
Tried a different lens , and bingo it worked .
So , anyone had similar problems ? or any ideas on how to fix the faulty 50mm lens ? I suspect its an electronics problem.

sorry for OT nature , but we need to use lens tomorrow .
