>Try as I may I can't seem to get the brilliance and contrast from my Epson 2200 printer that I get in my wet darkroom using Ilfochrome. Is this to be expected or can I do better? What paper are you using? >Also, although my PhotoShop images on my monitor are close to the prints they are not exact. If they are close, is your source image not as brilliant? Are you profiling your monitor now? Are you using accurate ICC profiles for the 2200? You need to explain your environment a little more. I'm guessing your monitor is not properly profiled, and you're not using ICC printer / ink profiles? If that's the case, it's time to get profiling.
