Hi After running out of storage cards the other day I looked at this again- true I had my Powerbook hidden in the car, but that was a half hour walk away :-))
Since my 'spare parts' box has a 10 GB 2.5" disk sitting around, I looked at external boxes For example: <http://web6.scan.co.uk/Products/Info.asp?WPID=41761> There are numerous filled examples around for those without a 'spares' box... The one above is a fairly slow example, but 10 GB should keep me going for a while. I've not actually got one yet -- perhaps anyone who uses this sort of device has some comments? I'd also recommend a power adapter that can run from a car cig lighter socket. I've one for the powerbook and a charger for camera batteries.
