It doesn't look as though the 10GB hard drive has the ability to check contents/file names, let alone view images. Also if it's USB in would take hours to transfer to the computer, and it's not clear if Macs are supported.
I'd rather be sure of the above before and get something like the Nixvue Vista, which seems to be cheaper now than they have been (�450 +VAT for the 30GB version from The Flash Centre). It isn't clear if this is with the Firewire plug. Without it you'd spend hours (days?) tranferring 30GB via USB. But that's almost a third of the cost of a 12.1" Apple Powerbook with DVD recorder...
