For one thing its a lot (read LOT and a LOT more) faster. From previous
posts written by other members, I would also say the results are far better.
I wouldn't shoot RAW without it. I'm certainly no RAW expert, I shoot JPG's
most of the time, due to speed limitations. However the AdobeRAW software is
a dream to use, very simple, very effective, correct colour straight away
(to the eye anyway, I've not tested it with any metering device), and soooo
fast.

If you're on a 1DS, the only decision should be whether to spend out on the
Phase One software (Capture One) which apparently is superb, especially
workflow wise. But it is a big investment (though in comparison to the cost
of a 1DS, its pretty damn small - As usual, people don't mind paying for
hardware, but think software is somehow overpriced? I can never get my head
around this, but perhaps that's because I appreciate what good software can
do).

For What it costs, buy AdobeRAW anyway. I can't believe there are many
people who've bought it and been disappointed. Though I've no doubt they
exist somewhere.

Regards Paul
