Anyone looking at USM software really needs to try Nik Sharpener too. It is a Photoshop plug-in which is designed to automatically apply sharpening for pre-press (Pro version) inkjet, web etc. It is not cheap, but I have found the web offset sharpening to be excellent and it can be batched very successfully.
