As a returner to the list I would like to re-introduce myself.
I am a photography lecturer primarily in the UK FE sector (West Herts College).
Most of that work involves silver based image making but I have access to a wide variety of digital technology which I am keen to maintain an understanding of.
Personally I'm increasingly interested in combining digital techniques with some of the traditional processes, producing large format negs on an inkjet for example. Final output to be on conventional B&W material.
One of the digital backs I have access to is a tethered Megavision S2 on a late beige G4 on OS8.1 from memory.
Since recently reloading the OS we've had trouble configuring the back.
Error message suggesting its a cable problem.
Given the limited college budget would any list member have a similar setup and be able to help us trouble shoot.
High Calumet service costs are unrealistic in the present economic climate.
