Are you registered with Nikon Professional Services (NPS)? If not, I recommend you enquire. Nikon UK's Fasttrack (sic) repair service may only be marginally quicker, but I have always found them to be very helpful with offering a replacement on free loan for the duration of the repair. But forget it during Wimbledon fortnight.
