It woks! Choosing my new custom paper size from the drop down menu is what I had forgotten. Sometimes the most obvious step is the one forgotten :).

Stick to format for any printer in page set-up and choose your new paper size with custom borders.
Unless someone knows the 2200 has a specific bug which does not allow format for any printer?
