Evening Prodigers,

I have a problem with my Canon 1D RAW files and the software i use to
convert them on my PC (XP). I have spoken to Canon about this and it now
seems i'm going to have to return the camera to get it serviced.

My question is this - How can you tell if corrupted files are indeed
corrupted? I have some files from various media, all of which are RAW files
that originate from my 1D, that i cannot convert in photoshop or any other
program to 'process' and am wondering if i will ever be able to. My Canon
software crashes everytime i try to open them, and photoshop will only open
them up to 162k despite the info showing they are 3mb or so.

I'm not sure if i've explained my dilemma with enough detail for now but if
anyone can help me out at this stage i'd greatly appreciate any top
tips..........

bye for now,

Justin Canning.
