Hi David!

I respect your choice to not use our product, but I respectfully ask that
you don't prejudge it.

>Are you going to warn 'consumer's' that
>their film is going to be trashed

When using the kiosk, you have to read a release and acknowledge that you
understand that you will not get negatives back. We encourage consumers to
back up their files and may offer an archiving service.

How have you "backed up" your negatives in the past? Do you make copies of
them and store them in two places in case of their loss? It is easy to do
with Digital PIC.

Our existing product line is very successful as a result of damaged, faded
and poor quality film (Digital ICE, Digital ROC, Digital GEM and Digital
SHO).

What do most (not all) consumers do with negatives? Loose them, damage and
destroy them. Many of them throw away the negatives as soon as they get
their prints. What do I do with mine? I file them away in a fire proof safe.
Even so I have a difficult time finding a negative that goes with a specific
print. It is very convenient having thumbnail images on the front of the CD.

>As an aside, there is a 'high street' processing company in Hertford that
>develops a 36exp 35mm film (makes a pleasant change !) scans the images
>(excellent TIFF or JPEG RGB scans - your choice - considering the price) to
>CD AND gives you 6" x 4" prints aswell, all the price of 12.00 (inc. VAT).

In our tests we charge $4.59 (plus tax) for a CD and an index print. This is
the suggested retail price. We process the film in about 10 minutes, not 30
or overnight, quite an advantage for the consumer.

Thanks for your input David.

Jack
