No doubt you would have no objection to me pre-judging in a positive light ! My 'pre-judging' (prejudices) are based on the information you have given me. The fact that the device in question destroys the film leaves a wry smile on my face - that's all ! It a funny idea. > How have you "backed up" your negatives in the past? There is no need to 'back-up' as the negs will be readable in 20 to 30 years time as they are - as long as they have been processed correctly. I do not have to worry about the CD been unreadable in 5 years time, or the continual hassle of opening each CD just to check its still 'readable'. For 12.00 + Vat I'm very happy to 'have it both ways' - film scanned to CD and have the original negs. I see it as a 'Win Win' situation - rather than a 'Win Loose' situation, which is what your process is offering me. I 'win' the CD, but 'loose' the negs. > a proprietary non-toxic developing agent is applied to the film with no > resultant by-product. And I love this bit of the blurb..... Isn't this taking the 'green-vote' a little too far ? I mean, I'd like to see some sort of by-product.....In normal parlance its called film. Thank you for making be cry with laughter. Its a great idea. All the best, David =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
