Dear Paul >From my experience, if the image is a suitable size for its intended use then it makes no difference whether the original started life as a piece of film of a bunch of pixels. Bear in mind too that a high end digital camera image will (generally speaking) be of better quality than a same size scan from a piece of film - that's not to say that digital is always a better route though. What it does mean is that you can have smaller files from decent digital cameras than if you provide scans from film.
