[PRODIG] Canon d1s vs MF digital backs

While all the reports and examples of the d1s tend to be excellent, I 
was wondering if anyone has done a comparison between it and a MF back 
such as a Sinar HR 23 and the likes.

I'm interested just what the difference is between a 12 bit (Canon) and 
a 14 bit capture.  While I understand in principle, I haven't seen how 
this plays out in an actual file.  I have compared a D60 to a Sinar, 
and there IS a difference between shadow gradations and lower values; 
but then there's quite a difference in sharpness and resolution between 
those two.
