I went to buy an IR remote release for my Fuji S2 and found they don't exist. However it's based on the Nikon F80 body - does anyone know if there's a dedicated unit for that and if so, any reason why it shouldn't function on the S2?
Failing that, has anyone built a custom remote trigger? I'd imagine it was pretty easy with a TX/RX, a solenoid and an old broken cable release, but I'd be pleased to read the experience of others before I begin.
Otherwise it's back to the old bulb and tubing :-(
