The Imacon doesnt suck any dust etc onto the chip, I have had a couple of leaf backs whose fan stopped and this was due to dust accumulated on the fan spindle over a 6- 8 yr period, hence the TIC reference to spray mount ! but again this doesnt affect the chip.
