I've asked this question on several other groups, but I've never received any answers. Please forgive me if this seems redundant.
I'm looking for real world experiences from those who photograph on location architecture and interiors using digital capture. While I have seen some images using digital, most are daylight (bright light) exteriors. But since location works often involves long time exposures, variables in mixed lighting, movement of objects due to wind, etc., I'm not sure that digital capture is there yet, particularly with the noise problems I've seen with long exposures. Much of my work is blown up to 20 x30 and larger for display prints. Currently I use MF and LF in both chrome and color neg, then scanning. So far, I've had good success with that method. I'm certainly not opposed to digital capture, but I've not found anyone using it for serious work outside of studios where massive amounts of lighting is called for, and then using multi-scan backs, certainly not really possible in my situation. Can anyone give me their experiences and perhaps show me some images done digitally on location? I appreciate any help. Thanks.
