Thanks for the info - but I don't have a problem with the print quality (especially after ditching OS9 and being able to use CM again), my problem is with the endless run of difficulties and total lack of tech support: Like telling me to use the grey balancer to remove an extreme Magenta cast, (only present when using CM-photo black-OS9). Wrong advice from every angle, and something that would have guaranteed me more headaches had I taken it.

Honestly, I love the prints I get, I'm just fed up struggling to get them; right now I don't have the printer, haven't had it working for 3 weeks, and desperately need to print some new cards for an Agent I joined two weeks ago. When I got the machine back last time it was worse than it had been before it went in, the 'repair' description was 'changed Matte ink cartridge' - and this had taken 10 days in the workshop!

Thanks again,
William Davies.

I've a 2100 - recently purchased after my 1200 went xxx's up.

It looked horrible to start with & looked even worse when I installed a CIS

It's just been profiled up by Neil Barstow & the prints look fantastic.

I would suggest you either contact him or Thomas Holm at Pixl in Copenhagen.
Both are extremely helpful & knowledgeable in all things Epson. (and a few
other things as well)

Hope this helps & god luck with the printing - or keep taking the valium :)
