When I was looking to buy a digital camera just over two months ago, I called the national advice centre to ask about buying from the States and was told that the commodity code is 8525401100 just like you. I was told though that VAT at 17.5% would be added, however, there would have been no additional import duties. In the end I decided to buy from the UK as I was concerned about the warranty issues. After VAT and Shipping was calculated, the difference was just �80, so it didn't seem worth the risk.
