A couple of quick thoughts. Quantum Mechanic does a very good job of removing colour aliasing:

For christmas tree lights in hair I would just paint them out with a soft brush in "colour" mode on a separate layer.
Keep one finger on the option key and keep resampling colour from the hair as you paint so the effect isn't too uniform.
