Nick

Thanks for your detailed reply - just what I wanted and you've practically
made my mind up for me. Can you elaborate on the fading issues when the
prints are not mounted behind glass? I hate glossy paper but Canon's web
site does not list mention any other media they make, (which I presume will
make the best use of their own ink's longevity). Do you know if they make
something similar to Epson's Heavyweight matt which I find great for mail
shots. It's good to hear that the original heads have lasted around 500
prints so far because when I mentioned my Epson failing after around 1200
prints, Canon's own tech help desk advised me that as with all consumer
products the S9000 heads weren't designed to handle large volume print runs
either, but I suppose they would have to cover their tracks!
Hey, are you the only guy using an S9000/i9100 out there! Would love to
hear other people's comments, or are you trying to keep it a big secret!

TIA

Tom Pollock

Tom,

I have had no problems in over a year with my 9000, my volume of prints
is not very high, probably only 500 A4s or so, but I would hate to go
back to Epson now..................................................
