Hi 1Ds users,
Where is the best place to get an emergency sensor clean. Something vile has
stuck to mine and I need it cleaned quickly and safely.

I have recently taken my life in may hands and used a squeezy rubber bulb type air cleaner on the CMos in my 1Ds.
It's nerve wracking - but it works. Whatever you do DO not use compressed air cans which contain propellant - and don't put the nozzle of a squeezy rubber bulb type air cleaner anywhere near the surface of the sensor.
Be brave - theyr'e only �6000 !
