Dear Pr Dig, Any experience of this?
I'm thinking about poss. of scanning some of my archive stuff where I have prints I like *exactly* (b/w both normal and toned) scanned to dig. I've seen 'good q. flatbed'(i.e not amateur flatbeds) scans from print and didn't think the quality.matched the prints...so will drum scans produce matched reproductions? The files would be for potential repro. There are cases where I'd really rather avoid ,or delay, scanning the neg/s and reproducing the effects digitally-lots of time I'd rather use onother things right now! The List's experience highly valued on this...
